I offer primarily weekday early morning & weekend appointments.

    • Pregnancy loss including loss due to pregnancy termination

    • Pregnancy and postpartum depression and anxiety

    My Approach:

Clients typically describe me as warm, direct, engaging and helpful. The most important thing that I can offer to you is the ability to listen well and ask skillful questions in order to support living a life that is meaningful even in the midst of great difficulty.

Therapeutic approaches that I draw from include:

    • Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), an attachment-based approach which focuses on coping with life transitions, addressing conflict and working through grief and loss

    • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), a short-term, goal-focused therapy focusing on constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach focused on learning how to identify and change thought patterns that have a negative influence on behavior and emotions.

    • Motivational Interviewing (MI),  a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication that is designed to strengthen personal motivation for and commitment to a specific goal by exploring the person’s reason for change with acceptance and compassion.

    • Mindfulness-based approaches, focused on highly accessible tooIs to help you be more present in your daily life.

I enjoy working with people from a variety of backgrounds and identities and strive to foster a sense of inclusion and equity in my work. I continually seek opportunities to learn and grow in my understanding of how to dismantle systems of oppression starting with my own conscious and unconscious values, beliefs and biases. I am an LGBTQ+ embracing provider.
